The perfect integration of Pocket PC, Bluetooth Technology and your existing Instrument System as a mobile and wireless Information Centre.
Modern instrument systems that provide a multitude of nautical information, such as GPS, course, speed, water depth, wind speed and direction are today's standard.
BlueWave expands the power of your instrument system by adding the first Pocket PC based mobile and wireless infromation centre. BlueWave allows you to view all the data anytime and anywhere.
System compatibility
BlueWave was tested with Systems from Raymarine, B&G and Silva.
Prerequisite for the connection is an NMEA output on the system bus, which may require an interface box (for example: Seatalk).
The actual breadth of information that can be displayed depends on the NMEA messages sent by the instrument system and is thus determined by the configuration of this system.

S/W compatibility
BlueWave runs on all Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 2003 and Bluetooth Interface (IPAQ, Toshiba, 2XDA II/MDA II, etc.).
A PC with Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP and CD-ROM drive is required for installation of BlueWave. The PC must be connected to the Pocket PC through ActiveSync®. ActiveSync(R) is supplied with your Pocket PC.
Range
The Class 1 Bluetooth-Dongle with a range of at least 10 meters is sufficient for even larger boats, if the transmitter is mounted near midship.
